WHAT A VIEW?

While looking thru some items left over previously, I came across this wonderful photo that I would like to share with you.

That's what I call "WHAT A VIEW".
Enjoy the sight.

Bye.

Yes, you are right about Tembeling being such a beautiful paradise. I too, am in love with this place. I often tell my friends that I live in a programme on National Geographic! In my 8 years at Tembeling, I have spotted a mouse deer; 2 pairs of Hornbills; packs of playful musang; a flourescent turqoise colored bird standing on the bouganvilla near the bridge to the car park; a wild rooster and hen; a juvenile eagle standing on the road down the resort, with its wings spread, defending itself against a whole troop of monkeys surrounding it and last night was the most beautiful of all! My usual friendly wild boars who visit my balcony every night, trusted us enough to bring their babies - 5 of them! Tiny teensy weensy babies with stripes, eyes just opened, barely 10 inches long in body length - soooo cute!!!!!!

Having just described such a paradise, I now have to say that I honestly wish that some of the residents who live in Block B will treat the inside of the block better! So many times, we step into the lifts with people smoking in it, trying to hide their cigarettes, or a smoker who smoked had just left. I too, am a smoker but I never want to impose on other non-smokers by smoking inside a lift anywhere! Last weekend, 4 stepped-on empty aluminium drink cans left on the floor outside the lift, sometime ago, there was dog poo near the lift (the owner is already breaking rules by keeping a dog but unfortunately, Malaysian dog owners have not yet learned to pick-up after their dogs!

I stood on a blacony in HK recently to watch as every person taking their dog for a walk, picked up after their dog with newspaper or plastic bags!

Then there is my neighbour, who despite my writing to the previous management 3 times - continue to keep between 8 - 13 cats inside his 2 bedroom apartment! Nobody walks past his apartment except poor me and my family and friends to get to the lift. The smell is terrible! I think he is one of those hoarders you see on Astro's Bio channel, otherwise how can anyone live like that? It seems like nobody can do anything about it. The previous management spoke to him ONCE and he sent his cats (13 then) away for 2 weeks but brought them back again one by one. He used to pay the cleaners to feed them and clean the place whenever he was away but I think those cleaners have left now so no one cleans now. some days you can hear all the cats mewing all together in unison from hunger.

Thereafter, the previous management never bothered again despite us complaining again. They just brush it off or are afraid to offend him. The irony of it all is that he is living there free courtesy of his job as his company owns the apartment whilst we work so hard to scrap what we have to pay instalments on ours because we own it!

Please take a walk to Block B, Lower Ground 3. I do not need to tell you which apartment it is. Take a step on the garden and you can also guess from looking at the balconies - filthy, with dirty mattresses left there for the last 3 years! And rubbish thrown outside onto the garden from his balcony! I personally witnessed him sweeping empty cigarette packets, MacDonalds cups, styro boxes etc into a dust pan and then swinging them out onto the garden in front of his balcony. Any time you can see bits of rubbish outside his balcony - sometimes disintegrated into smaller pieces.

And yet, I still love my Tembeling.
